This will be useful, expecially to get the Car battery x50 for the Moving City Quest (BelAZ Quest). Moreover, you will find that trading is a prerequisite activity as you will have to acquire large quantities of specific goods. Some items that can normally be obtained through looting buildings or killing bandits only, and that cannot be crafted, may be obtained via trading. Each base has only 1 trader, each trader selling unique items, except Magnitogorsk that has a fitter (makes weapon parts and armor) as well. Trading is the facility in the game’s mechanism to exchange goods with NPCs from other Survivors’ bases to acquire required items for a quest, or to craft other items. This is now time to consider trading with other Survivors’ bases. Though, certain updates, like v.555, refreshed most buildings and refilled them with new loot-able resources, but it’s very unlikely to happen again. Instead, try building the Steelmaking furnace on the spot since Cement and Brick is also available in that same Survivors’ Base.Īs you progress throughout the game, you’ll notice that looting buildings and killing bandits/animals for items start becoming harder, as resources become scarce (Buildings and bandit bases do not refresh and are finite). At this point, it’s better not to waste fuel. Let’s say you are Survival: Level 6 (70 kg), carry a Tourist Backpack (50 kg) and using a Motorcycle (240 kg) – You can carry a total of 360 kg per trip, so you will need to complete a minimum of 70 trips from Magnitogorsk (where the trade occurs). However, you will be required to carry Fire Brick x10,000, weighting 2.5kg each, for a total of 25,000 kg. It’s a simple trade: 1 Chitin –> 5 Fire brick and 10 Bone glue –> 100 Brick. Now let’s say you just need Brick and Fire brick to build a Steelmaking furnace. Then you can set off on a journey and trade goods for goods until you get what you need. Then you should plan, starting from the item you need, and track the item required for each trade until the trade requires something you have. Chelyabinsk ( My location and the city just next to Magnitogorsk)įirst of all, you will have to look at the list of trades each Survivors’ Base is offering. There are about 50 different goods that are available. Excluding the top-right one which I have not visited yet, there are 10 different Traders, including Sanya the fitter. The yellow arrows show the main Survivors’ bases and apparently, 10 main Survivors’ bases are present (The new version includes 8 new Survivors’ bases which only give quests and have no traders). Time survived: 1461 days and still counting…ĭistance traveled: 155,482 km Trading (Part 2) – Starting a trade routeīelow is the map of the game as from v.620 I’m also growing potatoes… But doesn’t matter.ĭifficulty: Sandbox ( That’s why I can save) I don’t play 24/7 so I may be a bit slow in progress.Ĭooking, Chemistry, Mechanics, Sewing: MAXEDĬurrently, I have a Cellar, Water purifier, Wooden house, Forge chimney, Workbench, Sewing machine, Chemistry lab and Greenhouse x11. I also hope that other contributors will give a helping hand in building a community centered about the guide and help expand it for the better. I hope to be able to help newbies understand the game better and other players to gain more accurate information about items, updates, quests or the game in general. So, I decided to make a blog, so I hope more people get involved in helping others, and eventually, maybe I’ll even learn something useful in-game. With 5 million downloads, it was hard to imagine that there were so few fan-sites and inactive forums. When I arrived at the Survivors’ base, I googled a little about some in-game items, quests and enemies, but most of the guides were outdated or contained only images of outdated versions. I’m currently using v.556 as from 1st January 2018. I downloaded Day ‘R Survival in November and have the free version of the game. Hey survivors, I’m a 17 years old guy and student from Mauritius.
